Student Dormitories

 

In Serbia there exist nine Student Centers, each of which provides its students with a number of dormitories. These nine Student Centers are located in: Belgrade, Bor, Cacak, Kragujevac, Nis, Novi Sad, Pristina, Subotica and Uzice. Here is a full List of Student Centers and Dormitories in Serbia. 

Only Student Center in Belgrade has 11 well-equipped dormitories that can provide accommodation for 11 350 students. Dormitories are usually located near the faculties all over the city, therefore they are a perfect place for experiencing the spirit of student life in the capital of Serbia. It is important to mention that selection process of candidates is involved and students are usually ranked depending on their grades, financial status, parental employment status, distance from the faculty and so on…

Since Student Centers are partially financially supported by the government, prices of accommodation in student dormitories are lover than average and ranges from 70 to 100 euros per month.

Beside accommodation in dormitories, international students in Serbia can also enjoy tasty Serbian food for very affordable prices. In the surrounding area of each dormitory, students can have meals in 17 student restaurants every day from 7 am to 8.30 pm, and the price of lunch is 0,5 euro only. Another option for accommodation during the studies in Serbia is renting an apartment. There are a lot of agencies that are specialised in finding private accommodation, however student can also do it on their own either via advertisements in newspapers or via web-sites. 

An average price for one bedroom apartment in the city center ranges from 200 to 400 euros per month, in the parts that are around 30 minutes far away from the city centre prices are lower and approximate up to 300 euros per month, and in the suburban areas even lover, exactly like anywhere else in the Europe. Of course besides city location, that is at the first place, prices of apartments depend on another several decisive factors as well: size of the flat, size of the building, whether the building has its own garage or parking place or not, whether it is old or new building, at which floor apartment is placed and so on…

Belgrade Graduate Business Programme (BGBP) is a MBA programme developed jointly by experts from Texas A&M University Commerce and Faculty of Economics of University of Belgrade. This programme aims primarily at offering high quality education in business administration in Serbia and Europe by providing students with deep understanding of both international and local business practices and environment.  BGBP is accredited by the International Association for Management Education (AACSB).
